Sibshops are social events where typically developing siblings can meet other siblings of special needs families! Together, they will have fun, play games, laugh, and share their experience of having a sibling with special needs. Attendees will also learn more about the services their brothers and sisters receive at UCP-OC!

  • Sibshop Leaders: Trained professionals make up the UCP-OC Sibshop leadership team. Our facilitator is Kay Haynes, M.S., a Certified Child Life Specialist.

  • Attendees: Typically developing siblings age 8 years old – 18 years old. Young adult siblings are also welcome to join as Junior Facilitators!

  • When: Saturdays once per month; online Sibshops will last 1 hour

​​

  • Where: Remote via Microsoft Teams through 2022​
