UCP-OC's Inclusive Childcare program brings trained, adult caregivers together with the parents of special needs children. With their caregiver, children are able to participate in traditional after-school programs in addition to having a safer and more enriched experience when their parent is away. Inclusion aides are pre-screened and receive training to ensure that they are reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy. The ultimate vision is for each child to participate as independently as possible within the childcare environment.
